Defense will definitely win games. There is a previous post dedicated entirely to playing safes and how to find them. This post was particularly dedicated to the major mistakes I find, not the technical aspect of the game. However, you are absolutely right. Especially in pool, the best offense is thanks to a good defense. It doesn't matter if you can't shoot very well if you're preventing your opponent from making any. Allow yourself 200 chances in a game to make a ball and you're almost guaranteed to make one unless you're trying not to. Agreed, Chris, and I thank you for your input. Also, for new league players, always remember you are there to have fun, do not let playing in a league get in your head thinking you do not want to make a mistake or let you team down.
